On February 13th LAC
will be holding a Bookfair from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. at the Barnes
and Noble store at Hacienda Crossing. This is a great way for
our team to make money and we don't have to sell a thing
except our enthusiasm!
The way it works is that
Barnes and Noble donates a percentage of the sales for the entire
day of our Bookfair for EACH customer that makes a purchase and
redeems an LAC voucher. We have the vouchers ready to go and
will distribute these at the same time that we hand out the Marco's
coupon booklets on Monday, February 1st.
Each family will receive
a bundle of vouchers (approximately 100) and all you have to do is
hand them out to friends, neighbors, family, teachers, co-workers,
coaches...you get the idea. On Saturday, February 13th
everyone who presents this voucher in the store will earn credit
for our team. Additionally, Barnes and Noble permits us to
distribute the vouchers at the Hacienda shopping center, providing
we refrain from doing so at premises adjacent to the
Bookstore.
To make this even
better, the store will provide us with gift wrap and supplies,
and from 9:00 a.m until 5:00 p.m. we will wrap books and
gifts in the store. ALL tips earned will be ours to
keep!!
We need volunteers to
help with this event and will post a job sign up soon. We
will need gift wrappers from 9 until 5 as well as people to
distribute vouchers at Hacienda Crossing on February
13th.
The Management of Barnes
and Noble stressed to us when we signed the contract for this event
that the KEY to SUCCESS with this Bookfair will be to get the
vouchers out to as many people as we can, so let's work together to
make this a success!
