Thirteen swimmers from Livermore
AquaCowboys braved the cold this weekend at Dolores Bengtson
Aquatic Center in Pleasanton to participate in the Pacific
Swimming Junior
Olympics Championship.
New Best Times were achieved by Shahini
Ananth, Nathan Boas, Taylor Brennan, Kylie Clark, Cat Elliott,
Alexander Gonzalez, Nina Hayes, Katie Kulp, Morgan Roddy, Shelby
Swanson and Trent Trump.
Shelby Swanson placed 8th in the
Girls 13-14 100 Fly with a time of 1:02.79. Nina Hayes placed
4th in the Girls 13-14 200 Back with a time of 2:10.68;
3rd in the 100 Free with a time of 53.69; 3rd and a new
Pacific Recordable Time (PRT) of 1:56.89 in the 200 Free;
2nd in the 200 IM with a time of 2:11.45 and 2nd in the
100 Back with a time of 59.89.
Nina also place 4th in individual high point for the meet (2 points
behind 3rd place).
LAC’s 13-14 Girls Relay Team –
Nina Hayes, Shelby Swanson, Haley Hamza and Katie Kulp place
6th in the 200 Freestyle Relay. The 13-14 Girls
Relay Team of Shelby Swanson, Nina Hayes, Kylie Clark and Katie
Kulp place 5th in the 400 Freestyle Relay and
5th in the 200 Medley Relay.
